Please Feed the Unicorns – Nurturing Developer Champions

This is a presentation hacker advocate Abraham Williams gave at our February meetup on the care and feeding of API champions- or as he calls them, unicorns. Check out video and slides below.

API Meetup member and DocuSign API Evangelist Julia Ferraioli writes this in her blog:

..unicorns are not just developers with free time, but they are also early adopters, fanboys and technical evangelists! Reward your unicorns for being a part of your community by giving out SWAG, tickets to conferences and recognition. See what works and what doesn’t with your community.
